System Analyst / Project Lead (Web Technologies)
Our Client is a Product Development Corporation with its Software and Web Development Centre in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR). It is currently in the process of building a technically strong, enthusiastic & confident team in India to service and support its global clients.
Location : Gurgaon / NCR / Delhi Region
Position purpose
Provide expertise in systems knowledge and proficient skills in the analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation of various software systems. Provide support on a day-to-day basis, and provide resolution for complex technical systems problems related to the product. Deal directly with Canadian Team in analyzing technical issues and formulating a proposed course of action. Use project management skills to understand requirements and lead a team to a proposed course of action to deliver a comprehensive/competitive product.
Key Accountabilities
- Actively participate in all related areas of software development related to design, coding, testing, and implementation
- Prepare unit & systems test plans
- Participate in application deployment
- Provide estimates for assigned work to Management
- Facilitate resolution of technical issues with counterparts and dependent IT applications
- Assess the impact of software upgrades and other environment changes
- Gathering, analyzing and documenting client’s changing business requirements;
- Discuss systems processes and procedures with clients, initiate and prepare recommended changes and corrective actions as necessary;
- Collaborate with other Information Technology team members and partners to ensure that all aspects of IT projects and support are met;
- Prepare documentation in the form of processes, procedures, development and support manuals, and IT business plans as required.
- This position Reports directly to the CEO.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree with 5-6 years work experience with software development and web development technologies, including Microsoft .NET, Java/J2EE, PHP, Linux, Unix, HTML, Scripting, VBScript, SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL and/or Oracle development tools
- Good Project Management & Team Management skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, oral and written communication, analytical and problem solving skills
