Web Content Editor

Our Client is a multi-locational corporation with a software and web development centre in India. It seeks to build a technically strong, enthusiastic & confident team in India to service and support its global clients.

Location : Gurgaon / NCR / Delhi Region

Profile

• Graduates or Post-Graduates with minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Should have online content management or web editing experience with skills and experience on Content Management Systems (CMS), HTML, web writing, content usability and accessibility.
• Must have excellent written English skills and a good understanding of writing for the web.
• Should be a self-starter who can proactively generate ideas and editorial.
• Copy writing experience with an understanding and interest in entertainment and lifestyle content would be a definite plus.

Responsibilities 

• Generate ideas and content for specific clients using RSS technology
• Edit text and HTML for site content and text for new feature designs to conform to house style and best practice for web writing and content usability. 
• Be a “super user” for web content management system, ensure the timely delivery of content to a live environment. 
• Proof-read content before release. 
• Contribute to maintenance and development of documentation on content processes, style and conventions.
