Centralised Placement Cell in Delhi University

NEW DELHI: Delhi University would soon set up a centralised placement cell to attract prospective employers for recruiting its students.

The new placement cell will provide opportunities for jobs to its students from various colleges and disciplines.

“Few colleges of the university have placement cells. But the centralised cell will help students from nearly 60 colleges to have equal opportunity to get placed in companies of their choice,” said Seema Mehra Parihar, Deputy Dean, Student Welfare.

The varsity is also planning to start some short-term programmes to develop the required skills among the students so that they could not be deprived of jobs just because of few shortcomings.
